Colombia Huila El Bombo Organic Washed
Overview
Tracing its origins to the Bombo village in Pitalito, this Micro-Regional Organic Washed lot represents the collective effort of the Association El Bombo. We tasted a bright grapefruit-led acidity harmoniously balanced by a deep caramelized sweetness and a structured finish of cacao nibs. Cultivated in rich volcanic and clay loam soils at elevations reaching 2,100 masl, this coffee undergoes a traditional 24-36 hour fermentation and is dried on patios and raised beds. The result is a syrupy mouthfeel and a sophisticated profile tailored for professionals seeking high-elevation Colombian coffee with certified organic traceability.
