Overview

Produced at the multi-award-winning Finca Buenos Aires in the Dipilto-Jalapa mountain range, this Maragogype lot represents the legacy of the Valladárez family. As a specialized Farm Selection, we tasted a refined profile characterized by crisp apple notes, bright bergamot, and a sophisticated Earl Grey tea finish. About Nueva Segovia

he Nueva Segovia region, located in northern Nicaragua along the border with Honduras, is the country’s most celebrated area for specialty coffee. This region is defined by the rugged Dipilto-Jalapa mountain range, which provides high altitudes and a unique microclimate essential for slow cherry maturation. The soil is predominantly sandy loam, offering excellent drainage and mineral content for the coffee trees. Nueva Segovia is renowned for producing coffees with high complexity, intense floral aromas, and bright, clean acidity that frequently dominate Cup of Excellence competitions.
