Juan Lopez has been working in the coffee farms since the 12 years old.In the beginning, he bought one hectare for planting and harvesting coffee, little by little he grew with more fields around his coffee farm. 16 years ago, he start to work on his own micro mill, and since 2017 he is working with CoopeAgri, selling and exporting his coffee around the world.
Currently, his micromill is managed by all the family, his son and wife, in the harvest he hires 18 people to work as a pickers.
Juan Lopez love the coffee, love all the work around the production and with 72 years old, he still having all the strength to continue giving his best for to many years to come.
The Brunca region in southern Costa Rica is characterized by diverse landscapes, ranging from coastlines to mountains, and is home to the Boruca people, an indigenous group known for their intricate woodcarvings, particularly their striking masks. This region offers significant biodiversity and opportunities for ecotourism.
